Good morning! This week has been an okay week, I didn’t get any sales or make any eBook progress because I was busy working on transcription projects. My transcription business seems to have picked up again, so I’m going to have to start tweaking my schedule so I can work on my transcription as well as my writing. This week I plan to do some more work on my “Get Paid to Talk Volume One” eBook, in addition to work on the transcription I have to do.
I also wanted to talk about a great tool I found for people who have problems with writers’ block, or who have a tendency to go back and edit their writing while they’re writing. It’s called Ilys, and I found out about it through Amy Lynn Andrews’ Useletter. Ilys is supposed to help with your writing productivity by allowing you to only see one letter a time as you’re writing. You start a session by putting in the number of words you want to write for that session, and it will keep track of the words you’ve written for that session. You can’t backspace while you’re writing in Ilys – if you do you’ll hear a buzzing sound. I actually used Ilys to write this and was able to get it all written fairly quickly. Once you’ve reached the end of your session you can go back and look at what you’ve written and decide what you want to do it with. I plan to write a more thorough review for my “Work at Home Tips Online” website as well, I’ll let you all know when that’s been published.
That’s it for this week, I’ll write another post again next week. Hope everyone has a great one!
