Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great week! I’m pleased to say the free promo I ran for “Your Work at Home Journey” went pretty well – I ended up with quite a few downloads. This is what I ended up with for the five days I ran the promotion:
So on Monday I had 232 downloads, Tuesday I had 319 downloads, Wednesday I had 300 downloads, Thursday I had 107, and Friday I had 87. Not only that, I actually hit #1 on the Home-Based, Small Business category for free eBooks, and #4 in the Entrepreneurship category for free eBooks on Thursday:
And here’s the entrepreneurship list:
Now that my free promo is over, I’m ranking much lower, but I’m still very pleased with how the promo went, even though I got the one two-star review. I’m hoping that now that the promo is over my sales will start going up.
In the meantime, I’m toying with a few ideas for “Get Paid to Talk” – I’m considering breaking it up into two books – one for companies that hire employees to work form home on the phone, and one for companies that hire independent contractors to work from home on the phone, and also adding some information to each book that would be relevant, such as time management tips for independent contractors, and information on expenses that independent contractors can write off.
I also wanted to share a great tip that I got from Buffer (social media management website) – they suggest creating test accounts on different social media websites to see which social media updates perform the best. I tried doing this on Twitter, and will let you all know how it works. You can check out the video here.
That’s it for this week, I hope everyone has a great week!
