As you all can see, I learned quite a bit from the webinars I watched over the past few weeks. I’ve started to put together a little bit of plan for what I want do and how I want to implement all the things I’ve learned. I’ll share that plan with you in this post.
One of the things I’ve started doing is looking into getting an app made that will go along with my book “Get Paid to Talk,” – I created a Microsoft Access database that has all the information on all the different companies that are I talk about in that eBook, and I’m trying to find out how I can get an app made that will allow people to search for work from home phone jobs. I’ve started talking to a few people on Fiverr about developing an app, and they’ve been asking me questions that I don’t know the answers to, like what do I want the app to look like? I haven’t given any thought to that, I only know what I want the app to do…LOL. So I need to do a little more research and planning with that.
Another thing I’ve started doing is outlining an idea for an eBook that’s a combination of “Get Paid to Talk,” and “Your Work from Home Journey” – it’s going to contain information on the different types of phone jobs that people can apply for, such as sales phone jobs or customer service phone jobs, and give a little information on a few of the companies that hire for those types of jobs, including links to go to to apply for jobs with the companies. The second section will contain information on a few of the issues that people who apply for work from home phone jobs need to be mindful of, such as tips for speaking slowly, how to take care of your voice, and why good phone skills are important when working from home. I want to use this book to promote the app that I’m trying to get developed, so it will probably come out around the same the app does – if it’s successful I may write books for freelance writing jobs and transcription jobs as well. Once I start really writing this book I’ll probably download Scrivener and try it out.
Another thing I’m thinking of doing is coming up with an online course for “Your Work at Home Journey” – I may actually try doing this first, because I think it will cost less than getting an app made for “Get Paid to Talk.” I’ll have to do some planning for this as well though, and I actually might re-write “Your Work at Home Journey,” a little bit.
One more thing I want to look into is crowdfunding – I probably won’t use this for any of the books I write int he near future, but maybe down the line.
That’s it for now, hope everyone has a great week- You will probably see fewer posts from me as I start working more on my writing and some of the ideas I have, but I still plan to write my weekly update posts. If you have any suggestions or want to share your updates, I would love to hear them – please feel free to comment below!
