Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great week, and that my US readers had a very happy 4th of July.  I’m pleased to say that Your Work at Home Journey got one sale, and I started working on what I said I was going to work on last week – adding  information to my book about the IRS’s definitions of an employee and an independent contractor, and also adding information on some of the different types of phone jobs that are mentioned throughout my book. I’m also thinking of adding some more information on some other phone jobs I’ve found – mostly companies that hire for phone mystery shopping jobs – however I may wait until the beginning of the year to publish that information, because I think I may actually have to publish the book with a new title since it won’t have just 97 companies in it anymore. Also, after looking at a few other books on Amazon that talk about companies you can work for from home, I’m looking at making a few other changes – I’m thinking of adding information on phone jobs that don’t require experience, how to start a business (since a few of the companies do require you to incorporate yourself, or sign up under someone else’s corporation, to work for them), and things you  need to work from home on the phone.

In addition, I also got some clarification on the other thing I mentioned last week, the fact that Amazon is only going to be paying for pages read.  It turns out this only applies to books that are borrowed from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, and not books that are purchased. So I may also look for ways to make it more appealing for people to actually buy my book rather than borrowing it.
