In “The Code of the Extraordinary Mind” Vishen Lakhiani discusses 10 laws that can help you accomplish the goals YOU want to accomplish – not the ones everyone else has set for you. If you’ve ever wondered if there’s a way to accomplish your goals on your own terms, read on for more information on this incredible book.
How the Book is Set Up
“The Code of The Extraordinary Mind” has ten chapters and is broken into four parts. In Part 1, Vishen Lakhiani discusses living in the “culturescape,” – the world that we’ve lived in our entire lives, and challenges us to question the “brules” (b****** rules) of the world we live in. In Part 2, he teaches us how to choose what we want to accept or reject, how to choose and upgrade our beliefs, and how to constantly upgrade our daily systems. In Part 3, we identify the ultimate state of human existence, learn how to live in daily bliss, and how to make sure the goals we’re choosing will lead to long-term happiness. And in Part 4, we learn how to be fear-proof, and how to put everything together that we’ve learned so we can live a meaningful life. In Part 4, Vishen Lakhiani also provides us with some tools that will help us on our journey to change our lives. He takes all the information he’s provided in the previous chapters and provides a summary of each chapter, along with the exercises he provided at the end of some of the chapters. He also provides information on the website he created to go along with the book, which readers can register for free and access additional content that will help them on their journey. These resources include:
- An online course that takes readers through the key concepts he discussed in each chapter.
- The Six-Phase program, which teaches participants how to apply the transcendent practices discussed in the book.
- Audio and video interviews with different people that contributed to the book, such as Peter Diamandis, Arianna Huffington, Ken Wilber, Michael Beckwith, and Emily Fletcher, among others.
